 Bobby and Candice came to Jinja in 2008, being sponsored by the East Sunshine Church of Christ (www.eastsunshine.org) in Springfield, MO.
Candice has lived most of her life in Arkansas and Missouri. Following high school graduation in 2001, Candice served in migrant camps in South Carolina and took short term mission trips to Nicaragua and Mexico.
Before working in Jinja, she taught 3rd and 4th Grade in Beebe, AR. From Harding University, she has a bachelors and masters degree in education with an emphasis in reading. Bobby grew up in Dexter, Missouri. He went on short term mission trips to New Zealand and Australia and participated in an internship in Togo, West Africa. Bobby has an undergraduate degree and Bible from Harding University and is currently working toward a Master of Divinity from Harding.
He enters the Jinja team as a cooperative partner with Kibo Group International (www.kibogroup.org).
